Bukkyō Dendō Kyōkai believes that whoever preaches the teachings of the Buddha should enthusiastically live with the teachings themselves.

38thBMS-The Practice of Ajikan-ho

The study groups at BMS encourage participants to experience and practice the path of the founders of Japanese Buddhist schools. BDK hopes participants will deepen their understanding of Buddha’s teachings by listening, thinking and sharing with everyone.

BMS offers various practical activities such as meditation, calligraphy, lectures by experienced teachers, etc. And of course, discussions among participants are a highlight of the seminar. They bring back what they learned at BMS, and develop it through actual practice in their local area.
